I wrote this poem entirely with my eyes closed...pen scribbling on paper. After a long phone call in which a dear friend, the love of my life, soothed my sore heart. It just shows how he makes me feel. His love washes over me in an aqua blue tropical ocean....…

My love let me have a shirt of his...and when I am missing him like crazy I wear it. It helps ease the pain of being apart some (not much!).

True love can span time and distance and even death. It's that once in a lifetime type of thing that leaves you breathless and aching, wishing it were you being loved so deeply and faithfully. And when we finally, someday, find that true love; it completes us and makes all else pale in comparison.

This is about a man who is preparing a special evening for the woman he loves. With a special question in mind. And he wonders, "Will She Come?"

There's something about fire, rain, wine, and lovers that really connect.

This poem is about a woman scorned, who took her own life in the sea. She became a mermaid and lures sailors to their deaths to take her revenge. Hauntingly sad.
