This poem is one of my first. It's basically about how I was feeling when me and my boyfriend was going through bad times. It tells how our relationship just isn't the same after what all happened, happened.

I am 15 and in the 10th grade. I got interested in poetry from reading Maya Angelo. I will admit that most of my poems so far is kind of sorry but by reading some of you guys poetry I have learned some things and got some ideas.

This is to express how I feel about the guy I've been dating for over a year now. I feel that he is the one for me. Although others think differently, because they say I'm too young to know. I'll be 18 in less then a month, so I believe I know who's meant for me.

This poem is merely about the feelings behind the end of your first love relationship at age 16. It's about how the good times are all we seem to remember, and always seem to linger in our minds. Every last detail of movement or words clings to our memory.

This poem I wrote for a guy that I liked. Some guy told him that I had a boyfriend. When I told him that I didn't he didn't believe me. He believed his friends over me. Later when he found out his friend was lying he came back to say sorry. It hurt but I sent him away. I went home the night he came to say sorry and I wrote this. I think I loved him. But it will be a long time until I can forgive him. That was the biggest mistake he ever made, I hope realizes it now.

One night I was sitting around my house doing some home work and I heard this noise coming out of my sisters room. It sounded like snoring or something! I knew that her boyfriend was over, but they were suppose to be studying together, so I wasn't sure what was going on. So I went back into her room to investigate. When I reached her doorway and peeked in, I wasn't surprised when I found them both asleep on her bed. The moment captured my heart, just to see them cuddling each other. I was inspired to write what I would have felt if I was the one sleeping and holding the one I loved so close...

So many times in our lives, things come across us and we don't realize until later how much they really meant to us. This can also be said about people. And most adults tell me "Take advantage of your youth...you do not yet know it's worth." But I disagree. I realize I have a power in my youth that drives me to be what I am and appreciate all I have. And I may not know a lot about love yet, I still have a ways in life to go, but the understanding I already have of it is more beautiful than anything I have yet to see. So here's my poem about the beauty of youth and love.

I'm a 13 year old girl at high school. My friends and I love to muck around with boys but sometimes, for some people it goes TOO far. I call my liking for guys Fun Love. And at my age I hope it just stays that way!
