Although this is not my personal story, my life reflects this situation slightly. I've known women who've had to go through this and I admire them so much.

I was talking to a friend of mine who struggled to make it on her own with her babies and she did a remarkable job. Single parenthood is difficult, to say the least - for both women and men.

Some time ago, I met someone over the internet. He was unlike anyone I had ever met. He has brought magic back into my life. There are very few words available to me that I could use to describe my gratitude to this man for encouraging me, believing in me and loving me....for who I am on the inside. This poem is just the beginning.

I wrote this after a wonderful dream. I believe the poem describes it rather well. I'm hoping this dream comes true. Only time will tell.
