I wrote "Angel" after seeing a friend I hadn't seen for a couple of weeks. This is one I can talk to about anything. I did have them in mind when I wrote it, although I'm not sure if they are my "angel" quite yet.

One time I was talking to a friend, who mentioned that he will go for days without checking the mailbox and that the mailman probably hates him. I was thinking of that, and it became the inspiration for this poem.

This poem was written just today (4/18/99) for a friend of mine. She and I just are totally not on the same wavelength. I feel she doesn't need me. I used to tell her everything and now we sometimes don't even say hello anymore. I haven't showed her this poem and I don't know if I ever will (it was a way for me to release my feelings). I hope things get back to normal between us, because if I ever do tell her goodbye I will miss her terribly.

I didn't have a very good April this year. My friend and I weren't getting along and things were very stressful. I was very down sometimes and so I wrote this poem.

This poem I wrote about the tragedy in Colorado. It is dedicated the students of Columbine High School, victims and survivors, and their families. May God be with them all.
