I wrote this poem about the feeling I get that I want to be anyone but myself sometimes and how I wonder how life would be different if I changed.

This is a poem about a girl I recently started dating. I thought of all the ways she affects my life and wrote them down (this is quite possibly my longest poem yet). I am greatly influenced by music (mostly punk, ska, alternative, and hard rock), so my poetry is like lyrics to songs. I hope to one day put this to music and play it for her.

This poem is about finding the right and wrong girls. The first rose represents the girl that you want but you know isn't good for you and just use and abuse. The second rose is the girl that can be so rare but is so perfect.

I wrote this poem thinking about the perfect girl. I got inspiration from BLINK 182's song "JOSIE" and the feelings it provoked in me and the feelings the girl I wrote this about provoke in me. If anyone ever listens to BLINK 182 you know what I mean when I say I have meet my Josie.

I was inspired by a poem ". 05" which said, "If I had a nickel for every girl who's rejected me I would be the president of the world bank . . . If I had a nickel for every girl who's ever loved me I would be the Worlds Bank's assistant janitor . . . " I wrote this about this girl I'm dating who I have very strong feelings for. She's pretty well off money wise and I'm far from. So this is my way of saying that if I had money I would spend it on her.

I wrote this one night after I had been out skating, and tried some tricks and fallen a few times. This poem seems on the surface to be about trying a trick and failing: but it has a deeper meaning. It is more of a metaphor for love and rejection.
