My interest in poetry took root in my early childhood and was nourished by my mother's readings from a tattered book of classic poems that I still possess. Poetry is a language of the heart; Unguarded words written from the very core of the human spirit without regard to appearances. We all know there is a higher plane to this existence than mere flesh and bone; and our level of awareness is increased each time we touch or are touched in spirit from that level of humanity whose name escapes our tongue. Yet we know, instinctively, that this is the entity where eternity resides...as a poet, I seek to ride such winds and write down my visions on the wing......I have also been known to write with the pen name of KnightWriter....
It is difficult to hold fast to ones dreams in the midst of rile and ridicule - often, we must stand alone upon the rickety bridge of our unpopular beliefs. But if the dream and the belief is deep-rooted enough, we learn to balance, unshaken, until the bridge, strengthened through our own stability, becomes a gateway to even those whose vision could not reach the breadth of its expanse.
In the blooming of one's awareness of spirit, comes a compromise of illusion and reality; each lending strength to the other in a mutual rise to greatness. Witness: an awakening.

Some of our truest loves, lost in some entity of our own makings, forever lay awake in the dreamings of what might have been. Often, we lay with them in sweet dreams of rememberings attempting to re-experience the magic of the moment while trying to elude the hauntings of their demise.
