I wrote this about a dear friend whose life was stolen from her in the midst of her youth. Although grief is an emotion that we often feel we will never recover from, there is truth and a reason for everything. One day, our tears will wash away the sorrow, but time will never wash away our dear memories. For even death has no control over the boundaries of love.

No one knows when death will come. So live each day like it's your last.

I have written this for my uncle. He was perfectly healthy. He'd never been sick in his life. Then one day a car hits him and he died three day's after. He said he wished he could have done so much more. He's gone now. So take a chance and try it. You'll regret it if you don't.

Eric by Ali
I wrote this poem when I was 11, for my best friend, Eric, who was killed by a log truck when we were both 10 years old. Even though he's gone, he still lives in my heart and my mind. I know I'll see him again someday, so I just have to keep living my life to the fullest.

My poem is about someone I loved very much and lost in a car wreck. Saying good- bye to someone can be the hardest thing to do. A loved ones death is the hardest to cope with, especially a boyfriend. I know that he is in a much better place now.

Dedicated to Larry

I wrote this poem a month after my grandmother died of lung cancer. I'm not a great poet, but this came from my heart.

I miss you Muddy, but I know that you're safe in the arms of Jesus.

This poem was written the day we found out that my friend, Angela, was in a car accident. She died about a week later. I went to visit her in the hospital but the doctors wouldn't let us see her because the injuries were so bad. She was only 14 years old! Her sister had to have lots done to her face, but she lived. I miss Angela so much! We were best friends.

I wrote this poem upon learning of the impending death of a man I love, and of his son's response to what he thought would happen to his father.

This poem was written by me right after I received a phone call that my friend Michael had passed away from Leukemia. As tears were running down my face, I thought about writing down my feelings so I did and I wrote this poem I changed it a bit but it still sends the same message, and every time I read it I cry.

My friend was only 11 years old when he died, he loved baseball, his favorite team was the Yankees, I will never forget Michael or his sweet smile. This poem is in memory of: Michael D. Wrobel 1984- 1996. We miss you Michael.

This poem was written just after the death of a very dear friend and fellow writer. It's one of those feelings where you know you did a lot and you cared, but you feel you could have done more in retrospect. Scattered thoughts that go through your mind when you loose someone near and dear to you. It was my way of venting all of those varied emotions onto paper.
