This poem just came to me as I was trying to find a way to tell the man I love just how much I love him and what I would give him if I could.

I wrote this for my boyfriend to tell him how his love saved me from despair. My three year old son had been killed in a wreck not long before this, and were it not for him, I would have completely went mad I think.

At the time I wrote this I was coming out of a bad relationship and had met the person who I am with now. We saw each other occasionally, but I always wanted more. We now are together and very happy, so I guess the wait was worth it.

This poem is about a man I met who I knew was a good man who I could easily fall for. I know we really liked each other, but there were some issues to work out. He called me at work one day to tell me he didn't think it could work right now and he wanted to be friends for now. I said okay and hung up the phone in tears, then this poem came to me. I sent it to him, but he hasn't seen it yet. I wish the best for him.
