I wrote this for a very special person I met on the net. He always is there for me and I wanted to let him know that I love him for all the nights he has unselfishly spent just listening to my problems

This poem is the way I told a very special friend that my heart had been broken so deep I could not allow him to love me until I got rid of some of the old pain left by someone else.

This was written for my husband at a time when I could not afford to buy him a birthday gift I gave him this poem and he has kept the small piece of paper in his wallet for 13 years now.
