My poem is about the feelings that came and went toward someone I held dear to me. We broke the relationship up, but I still had all of the memories.
I am only 15 years old and in High School, but I know how it is to have those memories, of the ones you have loved.

I wrote this after I received an e-mail from my girlfriend which was uncharacteristically short and contained no hint of "I love you" or anything like that. Fortunately, she wasn't leaving me, but for a while, I must confess that my world felt like it had fallen round my ears. I didn't know what I had done wrong, and I certainly didn't want to lose her, so I wrote her a return e-mail, and wrote this in that e-mail, so it is simply my heart on paper.

I wrote this for a request on the forums. I don't know if I was much of a help, but this was a poem about understanding someone who left because their love changed.
I wrote this poem with my ex-girlfriend in mind when I was feeling particularly inspired yet in a bad mood (inspired, hah!).
She is still my very good friend and I still care deeply for her.
