I wrote this poem a short while after me and my boyfriend broke up. I found out that I could get everything out when I wrote poetry. This was one of the hardest things I had to go through in life, but I learned a lot of lessons. Every time I would try to talk to him about it, I didn't think I was getting anywhere. So one night after I was talking to him, I wrote this poem.

This poem is talking about how I was finally figuring out that I didn't have to take what this guy was doing to me. I was so sick of the way things were going, but I finally stood up for myself and so I wrote a poem.
