Sometimes in life no matter how hard we try, relationships don't always work out the way we want them to. Yet no matter where our paths lead us, those we love are forever close in our hearts.

Old loves are sometimes very hard to get out of our hearts and minds. Sometimes we take the risk of losing a new love by still reaching for the old. Be careful the steps you take with emotions of the heart.

This poem was written after a relationship was put on hold. How can one day everything be perfect in your world and the next you are standing alone with tears in your eyes? If you are involved with someone and you love them - love them with all of you each time you are with them. You never know which time will be you last.

Sometimes things in life are not always the way we would like for them to be. So we live our lives doing the things we are supposed to do and keeping a dream in our hearts that someday the dream that keeps us afloat will really come true.
