In school, I had to write a poem about a color. My favorite color is blue, so I had to choose that one. I like somewhat simple love poems, and that's what this one is.

I wrote this poem for a guy that I recently started dating. At first sight, I thought that we would never be together because we, our pasts were so different. Soon I realized how wrong I was, and that I care for this guy so very much. Now we are in rough times, for he doesn't know exactly if this is right, but I feel in my heart that in all good time, things will work out. If we are together, then it is meant to be, if we are not together, then there is someone better out there for the both of us. If that is the case, at least I can say I learned a little more about true love.

My words in "I Want" epitomize everything I want out of another person. To live is to love, and to love is to be completely immersed in the soul of another being. I envy those who have experienced everything "I Want", because I am still waiting.

I wrote the poem for my boyfriend. It seems that being apart from the one you love is heart-breaking no matter when it is. I guess it's like missing the most important part of myself when the one I love is away from me.

This poem is about a girl who has went out with a guy and lost him twice but she still loves him.

This poem is about society today and how people can be tricked into believing anything. It's about how so many people make decisions without thinking them through first.

It is called "The Election" because I wrote it about my History teacher whom I call "The Politician."
