This is a poem I wrote to my husband the day after we had an amazing and emotional evening. Nothing was particularly different about what we did that night; it was a work night and we were just doing our usual routine. But something clicked inside me that night. We've now been married for 8 months and at the time I wrote the poem we'd been married for 7. We had been having the typical first year marriage troubles all the way up until the 6 month mark, and then everything just started to smooth out. We'd had some communication problems, not to mention being dry in the sex department. But as I said, things had just started working themselves out and I felt myself falling in love with him like it was the first time all over again. Anyway, the day after we had a wonderful night of love making I wanted him to know how much it meant to me and I definitely didn't want to pull the old, "You were wonderful last night," crap. So this is for him and all his manly wonderful ways.
"My Mind Is The Tool" is a thought provoking look at the way sex has gotten in the way of true intimate feelings. The mind is the real heart and soul of a person, and to stimulate it, is to really bring rapture to one's body.
The physical is great, but those feeling soon fade away. The mental is everlasting.

This is all about the intimacies lovers discover in the silence of each other.
Two lovers spend a day on a picnic, a romp under God's blue sky, and a sip of ice- cold champagne. Yum
An experience that happened while I was on vacation at the beach, I was daring, my partner was as well, the beach, the sand, the feel of an ocean mist and hearing the waves roll really make for an erotic back drop of Ecstasy.
This poem is about a man I long to love, yearn to hold, ache to touch. Still, we share the words "I love you" and each time those three beautiful words spill from his lips all the aching, all the yearning subsides and I'm filled with such a lush peace that the world around me floats away. I love this man, I would walk to the ends of the earth to hold him in my arms and call him mine.
Jonathan touched me and awoke a poet in me. He has made my life sweeter. In his green, green eyes, I found answers. And after our first night of intimacy, I wrote this poem to capture everything my new love stirred inside me.
This poem is about surrendering a heart to a lover, if only for a brief moment in time.
