I wrote this poem not long after meeting the most wonderful woman in a chat room. I never planned on falling in love with someone on the net but she captured my heart and stirred my soul. We have been communicating for months now and I love her more than ever. Sometimes the best things in our lives come unlooked for . . .

I really don't know how this poem came to me. I was just visiting this website and all these words just came into my mind. This is about a relationship between me and a very special person. Love is something very unique & very precious. It can only come so many times. Keep it real, when it does.

I met a man on the internet and fell in love. Our situations were such that this love could never be. It has been hard for us - being apart, and yet feeling as we do. This Poem was written about my depth of despair, my loneliness, and my missing him - though never having touched him. I dreamed of him, and when we first met on the Internet I was an emotional wreck. I remembered him... Weird? Some people would think so. I believe he's my "soulmate". Sad isn't it?

When two people communicate, love can happen anywhere, anytime, and often unexpectedly. The Internet only opens a new setting for an old drama. However, whenever, or wherever people get together, love will find a way. It found me and could not be denied.

I'm a romantic soul, living in Belgium. Love has been my part in the past, and now the Internet (ICQ) has brought it back. Still wondering how.

Suddenly she was there, right before me on the screen. Living in another part of the world and yet so close. We called ourselves 'online- friends', then 'online' was left away, and now the impossibility itself happened.

My love and I met in a chat room, and we shared the usual information, age, sex, location. We found we had location in common. He was born in Kentucky, and I now live in Kentucky. He touched my heart, when he talked of missing the early morning mists in the hills and mountains. I share those feelings with him, because I too feel there is something magical in the mists. Because of those wonderful, magical mists, our souls have become one.

This was written to describe the feelings for a very special person I met via the internet. We have made each other very happy but the circumstances prevent us from being with each other

Thank you for this site. It was the place that inspired my boyfriend to declare his love in a very special way. We met through ICQ and today, some days after I wrote this, he has officially asked me to marry him.

It is to God that I wish to thank for the happiness I am feeling, because I never thought that I would ever get this beautiful gift of being loved and of being in love again. I had a sad experience previously, but the best was to still come. God truly wants the best for his daughters and sons. Thank you my Lord. I hope that my praise to you will help others to also thank you for all the blessings we receive each day.

This is my first poem. A new e- mail pal I now have inspired it. I was way down in the dumps and she came into my life for a few days. Everything was pure intuitive magic. The few times we had together were very precious to me. I will never forget the moments of deep feeling. After her visit my luck did change and things started going in a positive way. She was my Angel for a short time!
