With messages and words , dreams can be fulfilled with the meeting of hearts, each meeting half way. Hearts are like magnets, drawn together.

I wrote this poem for a man I meet online. When I first came on line I did not come to find love. I came to find friends to help me with my children. Thus I was in parenting-single parenting. I meet this sweet man on line and he became my friend. We begun talking on the phone. I fell for him and now my heart is his. I moved to Mississippi a week and a half ago to begin my life with him. I wanted to share this with everyone. I wrote this poem for him for Valentine's. I hope you enjoy this. He has not seen it yet. I hope he likes it. Thank You, Melissa

A chance online meeting. Falling in love with the person on the other side. After many months, knowing you are soul mates, the first meeting the coming together of your hearts. Beating separately - until the day you become one, beating as one.

I meet my love on ICQ, where we chat about many things besides the obvious. Some of the imagery in this piece is inspired by those long chats across time and space. I find this communication technology very intriguing and intimate.

You know how, when you're in a chat room, couples are always sending each other messages that have a little *swak*, or sealed with a kiss, tag? That is the very phrase that inspired this poem. (BTW, don't ask me where I got the tied up with a rose part; it just seemed to fit, so...)
