After a long, busy day, while relaxing outside one evening in spring, my spirits were lifted and my weariness disappeared as this vision sneaked into my daydream. Completely refreshing me so I could finish the work of the day.
After struggling through the day, trying to figure out the ups and downs, when it seems those inner battles just won't stop, I often find the answers in solitude. And so often with the peace of the night, come the answers, in the most glorious ways.
This is a poem written to my dearest friend who has helped me to learn so much about life, at a time when I was feeling pretty low...As the oldest left home for college and life was changing quickly.
When life becomes overwhelming, as it sometimes does, one true friend can make all of the difference - with no more than simply being there, no more than reaching out a hand in the darkness.
