Passions by Lone Wolf
I heard about a wonderful place
Filled with sweet poetic grace
So much amazing talent here
Motivation to strive for a higher gear
Everyone offers their encouragement
And whenever needed support is lent
I have found some special friends
Who will stick with me to the end
Glad I worked up the courage to post
These words are my innermost
They came straight from the heart
Always have right from the start
1000 posts so hard to believe
This is one place that I won't leave
I love to write too much
By you all I have been touched
Thank you to all other poets
You've helped and I hope you know it
I will strive to do my best
And overcome life's little tests

Passions is a fabulous place filled with many talented poets. I wrote this poem to commemorate my 1000th post as a member of the forums and this great group. It is dedicated to Ron, above all, for having the courage to start this haven that is now my home. Thank you to all who have encouraged me in my writing endeavors.
