I've thought it over and I know what I want,
I need the girl who made my heart stop,
Since first sight I thought I might fall in love,
My secret mistress and long time lover,
When will you be mine,
Lately the thought has been on my mind,
And I want you to be mine next time.
I remember our first kiss and think about our last,
I wonder will we be forever or a thing of the past,
I wonder if you'll be mine and will it last
but if not, we can try again next time.

Because you've been there when no one else was,
And you're my star from the heavens above,
And if you can't be my only love,
I'm willing to wait until next time.

I wrote this poem because I found a girl I really like, but she her parents have this thing about her having boyfriends. So I finally said we shouldn't have to sneak around to be together.

This poem reminded me of my first love. My parents wouldn't let me see a guy so we had to spilt up. He did so many bad things while I was away and when he tried to get me back I had already found out of the bad things he had done. I still love him to this day and will forever. But I would never take him back not now.
