My Child, Allow Me Your Time by Chapa
Allow me your time
To show you I Care
For in this time You’ll know
I Am, always there

We may not be the same
We may not always agree
My Child, Allow me your time
I’ll show you
These differences
Are not important to me

Some may say
I see through "stained- glassed eyes"
My Child, Allow me your time
And You’ll see
Abstract as I seem
I live not in a disguise

Some have said
How does he hear my unspoken words
How does he see my silent tears
My Child, Allow me your time
And You’ll Know
Within you, I am
Without Hesitation or Fear

My Child
Earth is now your home
Live it with love
Allow Yourself The Time
I'll Guide You
From Above

My struggles with faith go back a long way. Through prayer I realized that it was not God who would or had ever abandoned me, it was ME. I created my own doubt and fear of him. I allowed myself to live life only through my tainted visions, past and present, wanting change but not sure how I could make a difference.

For years I have given and given to others without hesitation or fear, but I never gave to myself. Faith has taught me that love is not a tangible or materialistic possession, but love is within. Remember, we may not be able to see God, but we can sure see his miracles.

bubble "I" enjoyed your poem; my spirit "felt" your spirit and I saw your soul through your words. Your God given words are of a truth. Thank-you for sharing. These thoughts are good to remember at any point in our walk with Jesus. - Lori
