Scent by Alberto La Femina
I live on a island
a silent island
the winds comes
and it never stops
sometimes it brings
the scent of the Mediterranean sea
sometimes it brings
the scent of the Saharan sand
but I know
it will bring somewhere
the scent of my island too
a silent island
the winds comes
and it never stops
sometimes it brings
the scent of the Mediterranean sea
sometimes it brings
the scent of the Saharan sand
but I know
it will bring somewhere
the scent of my island too
This poem speaks more of the wind, the scent and of my island. It speaks about me.
| On a scale from 1 to 10 i would give the poem a 9 1/2. It was one of the best poems i have read in a long timee. Good job. - Cayla |
