Only Words by Veronica Ann Cech
Sometimes the words I say
are flat and empty.
They slip from my lips,
they flutter
Like tissue paper skittering across
a blacktop, deserted parking lot.
I try to fill them with
the life, laughter, and love
That I need you to hear, to feel,
but they still seem papery.
I can't begin to express with mere words,
so we share hearts.
And that's a start,
are flat and empty.
They slip from my lips,
they flutter
Like tissue paper skittering across
a blacktop, deserted parking lot.
I try to fill them with
the life, laughter, and love
That I need you to hear, to feel,
but they still seem papery.
I can't begin to express with mere words,
so we share hearts.
And that's a start,
Did you ever feel so much emotion, so much intensity, so much love for someone, that you can not, ever, adequately express it to them? I have. It is wonderful. Dedicated to my own true love and to yours.
