Love And A Grape by Vinny
A blossom in the sun,
a budding growing singularity,
tended everyday with care,
soon to be chosen, and
savored as a fine wine,
an inebriating liquid yearning
to overflow.
Then, at its peak, overlooked -
its essence never to be tasted,
withheld from parched lips,
left to become a raisin.
a budding growing singularity,
tended everyday with care,
soon to be chosen, and
savored as a fine wine,
an inebriating liquid yearning
to overflow.
Then, at its peak, overlooked -
its essence never to be tasted,
withheld from parched lips,
left to become a raisin.
Pick me pick me. I thought maybe sometimes love has a humorous twist and could be found in the vineyard of life somewhere.

| Fantastic idea for a poem. To me it represents our lives. If we don't share ourselves with others then we will become the raisin. Thanks - David | |
