They say that people make mistakes
I know that's what I did
Just tell me you forgive me
And you'll always be my friend.
I know I'm only hurting myself
I know that you don't care
But I want to share my feelings with you
And hear that you will always be there.
I wasn't asking for us to get serious
I just wanted a moment of fame
It's such an honor to be with you
But now I'm the one to blame.
I hope you keep me in your heart
You will forever be in mine
Maybe one day we'll work things out
If we just give it time.

This poem is to all guys who don't understand when a female makes a small mistake. Most guys think that just cause a female makes a mistake that means she does not want him anymore. In this poem, I apologize to a guy and ask for his forgiveness.

I love this poem so much. I made a huge mistake two years ago and I still regret it to this day, I broke up with my boyfriend. Even though we are not together we are still good friends and I can't see us ever being enemies. I still love him in the best friend kinda way. I will never forget him and I want us to stay friends forever! I still love him very much and he has a special place in my heart. - Rachel |

I love this poem and it inspried me to write poems just like that only with different wording. I am currently in a writing group at school and this poem is really great i give it a 10 out of 10 meaning that is the best out of the best. i think a alot of gurls good relate to this poem because we have all made mistakes and maybe even lost the one we loved(i did. ) It also shows that if u have hope u could get back togther someday or maybe even find someone who u can love but u know that deep down inside u could never replace that person. - tia |

Hey Amy you went through what I am going through right now with my b/f he just thinks that i dont want to talk to him anymore but it isnt true i love him with all my heart but i was confused when i was dating him except i did like the serious relationship we had going but I have always gotten hurt when i got too far in the relationship so I guess i was afraid of getting too far and getting hurt again so iI ended it before he could end it im tired of being apart from him but i mean he sort of cheated on me but he didnt he flirted with a lot of other girls and told them he doesnt have a g/f and well im got mad and he didnt understand. Your poem was great! It totally describes me and my ex-boyfriend. I was with a lot of friends and they kept telling me that he was lieing to me and wanted my bestfriend and that I deserve better. I cheated on him and stopped myself before it got to far because I knew I ahd made a mistake. I called him one day and told him and I was crying and I apologized and told him that I regret it! I always told myself that I didn't like him and then I seen him and I fell for him all over again! Now I don't know how to tell him.
