Come Back To Me by Shirley
I suddenly feel so sad and alone
You've carved your name in my heart
We've just said hello and goodbye again
I can feel the teardrops start
You're gone - not forever - but gone just the same
All those long lonely miles away
Can't wait 'til you come back to me
Forever and ever to stay

This poem was written after spending time with Mike learning and exploring each other and the love we share. I never realized how much he truly was a part of me until we had to say goodbye. It was only for a little while, but that didn't make the pain of our time apart any less.

We have been in this long distance relationship since October of 1997, and we have had a chance to spend a lot of magical time together. However, each time we have to say goodbye, it breaks my heart in two. Even though I know we'll be together soon, I can't help but feel completely lost without him. Each time I watch him walk away from me to board the plane, my heart shatters into a million pieces and I realize I will never be whole or complete until we meet again.
