Chamber's Door by Jordan Buller
At the eve of contemplation
a knocking surfaced at my chamber's door.
A knocking I have heard before.
"Tap tap tap", echoes through my epidermis
to stir against my veins and bone.

To my chamber's ear I hear,
a faint whisper of a call.
A calling of a love long lost
and whispering a most proverbial name.
A love I have no time to perceive;
a name I know of as my own.

Forcing the voice deep in my breast,
before it tears my walls apart;
I again refuse to answer the knocking
at my chamber's callused heart.

A loneliness engulfed me as I set out on my quest. A quest of truth and understanding. There was a time in my life when I had to ask myself, "What am I really doing here?", "What am I suppose to be doing?" I was searching for a truth. The scariest part was I already knew the answer, but was unwilling to answer the door.
