The Day by Sunshine
There once was a girl who loved someone.
The someone she loved was too busy having fun
to notice how much she cared...
how much she stared.
They were believed to be friends,
but were they?
That's what he would say.
They would laugh,
they would cry,
she would try and try
to let her feelings out.
One day she did,
and what do you bid?
She said, "I love you"
and, do you know what he did?
He said, "I love you and many others."
But, she still was upset,
and she just could not get,
she just couldn't understand
why he would just not take her hand.
and say, "I love YOU too,"-
the girl thought as she wondered what the hell she would do.
Will there ever be a day when he could love her back,
and she wouldn't lack,
"the love of her life"
Maybe one day, both hearts will be gay.
Maybe because of each other,
or maybe because of another.
There's just one thing I have to say...
"When is that day?"

I wrote this poem on the day that my best guy friend, who I know I was truly in love with, asked me who the new love of my life was. I suddenly burst into tears and I couldn't even talk to him after that. Eventually, I did and we were best friends again. I told him how I felt, and he claimed he felt the same way.
For awhile we were together and he made me promise if things didn't work out, we would be best friends again. Everybody knows that can never be. When you love somebody so much, you can never go back to the way things used to be, it's just too hard when you have the same feelings of love. Right now we are no longer friends, as I predicted, but I still feel the same exact way. It makes me hate him so much to know how much he hurt me, and that my feelings, after a year still haven't changed.

your peom is just like my life there is this guy i love and i cant wait any longer for him to say i love you because all my mates say oh yer he well likes you and i am like yer rite but i dont know i have liked him for 2 years is that to far to wait for him i have tryed evrything to stop likein him but i cant all i want is a kiss and love from him but he dosent know shall i tell him - chez |
