I can't be with you right now
responsibilities bind me today;
Yet there is a hope in my heart
that always floats your way.
There's only you and me
on my island of hope;
It is the dream I will one day be with you
that keeps my hope afloat.
I hope someday in the future
on an ocean of blue;
I will open my eyes and see you there
