I always thought I was the greatest man
Put other men down when I can
Being so great I had you convinced
A perfect marriage a white picket fence
You believed it for so long
I always said I do no wrong
I always said that man is mean
Loving a women he's never seen
He treats her bad he's no good
In front of her is were he stood
I said that is such an awful man
Hurting her whenever he can
I was the greatest I had you believe
Something hit me as I watched you leave
Looking into a mirror what did I see
That awful man was looking at me

I've always compared myself to the one or two things a guy does wrong in his relationship and always convinced my ex-wife I was such a good husband -- without thinking of several things I did wrong
