Unseen Love by Loved and Lost
Why didn't you call her back last night?
Do you think she doesn't care?
would it even catch your attention
if she cut off all her hair?
And when she burned you with the candle
she did it because she liked you.
Didn't you notice she burned herself
to feel what you felt too?
You told her all the answers
before the questions were asked.
You knew just how to do it
before you knew the task.
they wrapped a chain around you
they won't even let you grow
they think they do what's best
but they will never know.
You are a prisoner inside,
don't think she can not see
all the pain around you and who won't let you be
she's been there herself
don't say it's not the same
it feels just like they all did
although it has a different name.
You close up all the curtains,
so no one can see inside
you want her all to yourself
you want her to hide
your afraid of all her beauty
and what's inside her head-
the only time you love her is when she's lying in your bed.

OHH i love this poem! it is soo true no one knows how its feels or how you feel untill it happens to them!I have had it happen to me. & the guy. well i guess i still love him!He knows & He says he still loves me But you cant tell when we are around each other,because we cant let people know!( it makes me soo sad. wow.your poetry is the truth in it's ugly, bare, existence. I was treated like that and it took me a long time to realize that was wrong and i deserved more.
