What They See by Casidy Reynaud
I bring myself here every day.
I fake a smile and look the other way.
Let them laugh and talk some more.
They don't have a clue, they know nothing for sure.

I go to my classes, I get my work done.
There's just no way this could ever be fun.
As soon as it's over I'll look back and see.
All the bad times that they caused for me.

They'll never understand me.
I'll just keep it all inside.
Someday when they look back.
They'll realize I had pride.

I guess I'll just have to tough it out.
I've done it for this long.
Someday when they look back.
They'll realize they were wrong!

This poem was written about my life. School is not the best place to be. Anyone who has ever had rumors going around about them can understand this poem. You can't do anything without the whole dang town knowing what you are doing. You just have to think of it as yourself in this place.
