Is it Right? by Deborah Grijalva
I can't believe I thought you would ever love me.
I guess I was wrong, because everyone says I am,.
They say you were right...
Really, were you?

Were you right to hurt me? and make me cry?
Were you right to make me always think of you
and not let a minute of my life go by
without saying your name?

Are you really right to make me feel so much pain?
Are you right to make me want to take my life away?
Is it right for you to look at me
And smile knowing everything's not right?
Is it right for you to make me cry for what I did
when I'm always saying I'm sorry?

Is it right for me feeling like this?

I wrote this poem for someone who is never going to talk to me again.

I tell him I'm sorry and how I feel, but no matter what I do, he will never speak to me again. This poem is about how I'm feeling, that I fell in love with him and that I'm so sorry. But he won't forgive me.
