Many Unsaid Things by Jacquilyn Flory
There were so many things I did not say
When I looked into your eyes
The things I think about each day
Would take you by surprise
The wonders of what we could share
Still powder in my mind
I wondered if I could tell you how much I cared
And I guess I ran out of time
Now your face is not stopping me
From telling you how I feel
Maybe this is the way it should be
So I'll try and keep it real
We have known each other for quite some time
And we're recently good friends
We were a couple for awhile
But we know that never really lasts
I always felt as if my heart was on trial
And now it's a thing of the past
I want that love we once shared again
If it was ever there
I know that I had loved you
But did you really care?
Sometimes I wish you would talk to me
About the things you feel
Then maybe someday I'll understand
How you've learned to deal
I've often wondered what it would be like
To feel your warm embrace
To kiss your soft sweet lips
Or have your touch upon my face
But now I am gone and I'll never know
How wonderful it would be
To have the sweetest love
That you would share with me

This poem is about a person who is in love with someone, but could never really show their true emotions. They had went out before, but it never really worked out. Now they are friends, but one of them wants to be something more. This is the only way they could express their feelings toward their loved one.

I know how you feel. I was same touch with this beautiful poem. I was very attrative with a friend of mine, he out of U. S All that time he said we are good friend, but i was very hard to say to him, how much i feel about him. I am scare to be as a fool person by him. Yeah i am in love with him like crazy. We been sending email too much, but i am still scare to tell him how i feel when he was around, we did so much fun together, but I am scare to tell him that i am in love with him. lol Your peom is so beautiful, and it got in my thought. Your poem touched a chord so deep within myself I actually cried. It's amazing how a complete stranger wrote something so absolutely beautiful and how much it fit my situation. My ex and I were very much in love, or so I thought, until he crushed my heart. I will definately always remember that ultimately, it was a stranger who put my feelings into words. Thanks a lot for making me remember just how much I miss my ex. We were together for a year and stuff happened and we broke up, now I am with his friend and we are the best of friends but is very hard to be near him when we still have feelings for eachother.
