Perception by Faye Jones
There is many a time
You seem to read my mind.
But in the end
You can't know what I intend.
Your view of my actions
Are clouded by your past attachments.

Your memory guides your comprehension.
If only you could change the definitions.
Erase the imprints on your heart.
Make a new start.
Allow me to ease your misery.
Let us make our own new history.

The baggage we bring into relationships has to be dealt with, But if both realize the problem and are willing to work on making a new start, it might work. Just don't judge one by the other.

bubble THIS IS SO AWESOME. MY HUSBAND AND I HAVE BEEN STRUGLING REALLY HARD WITH THIS ISSUE FOR 4 YEARS. HE JUST CAN'T SEEM TO LET GO OF OUR PAST AND HIS PAST WITH OTHER WOMEN. I MARRIED HIM 4 YEARS AGO AND WE STILL HAVEN'NT STARTED OUR NEW LIFE TOGETHER YET, (AT LEAST IT DOES'NT FEEL LIKE IT) - WENDY
