Entrust by Nancy Ness
A yearning heart's perplexity
Shan't daunt ingenuosity.

Entrust the keeper of thy heart;
Unfettered love opts ne'er to part
When cloaked with inner sanctity.

Entrust the keeper of thy dreams
When unseen wanton pleasure seems
To beckon lascividity.

Entrust the keeper of thy soul
To render your existence whole
In pure poetic harmony.

My Paramour, don't anguish thee,
Come hither now and share with me.

If there is intrinsic trust in a relationship, all obstacles can be overcome. The key, of course, is never to betray that trust.
